Interested in Participating?
We are always looking for new crafters and artists that make high quality, up-to-date items.
Here is how a boutique works versus a craft show; the boutique basically does all the work for you, along with paying for the rental of the facility and advertising. We display and sell your items for you. No more sitting at a craft show for three days!
In return, a percentage of your sales goes to the boutique (usually 27%). When the boutique is over, crafters pick up their items that have not sold. Shortly after, your check is mailed to you (minus the commission). It's that easy!
However, not everyone that asks is allowed to participate in the boutique. A crafter's merchandise is juried first. We watch for duplication of products along wih the quality of the product. For example, only so many customers are going to buy embroidered dish towels, so we cannot have ten different crafters making them; none of those ten crafters would sell very many. We also jury on what types of items are brought into the boutique. Not every item is appropriate for the boutique.
If you have more questions, or would like an application to the boutique, please email me at csboutiques@hotmail.com.
